What the Heck is Contemporary Teen?
Contemporary Teen is the new, hip, go-to place for teenage girls who want the real scoop on life. What makes Contemporary Teen different from all of the other blogs, magazines and websites spewing advice for young women? It’s simple. We keep it real, and we make it personal. Contemporary Teen will tell you what nobody else will.
Thirty-five year old Melody Bitkoff, main contributor and Editor at Contemporary Teen, brings a refreshingly new spin to traditional teen girl advice. With viewpoints that are anything but common, yet spot-on, Melody provides a modern approach to issues teen girls face today. Her thoughts and insights are based on her own life experiences as a teenager growing up in Westchester, NY, college life, urban living (New York City and Boston) and advanced studies in communication theory and practice.
At Contemporary Teen we understand the concerns of modern teens, and our focus is to help you navigate the triumphs and pitfalls along your quest to womanhood. Fresh and straightforward, Contemporary Teen will cover it all. From the good to the bad and yes, even sometimes the downright ugly. Filled with facts, thoughts and ideas on life, love, dating, boyfriends, friendships, as well as insight into fashion trends and music, teen girls will find it at Contemporary Teen.
